We are all musical beings singing our own songs in life. 

The intention of this Cd is to assist you in singing your own song.  To release any blocks that may be binding and clear your chakras so that you may experience a more bliss-filled life. These chants were written out of love and joy and it is our hope that they will assist you in experiencing graceful energetic shifts. 

Surrender was created to resonate and align the energy centers in our bodies known as chakras.  The chants on Surrender are designed to create balance in the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies. 

All of the chants contain seed mantras or Bijas which are sounds believed to bounce off the inside of the skull and ricochet to specific regions of the body.  When you chant, you want to stimulate the chakras by maximizing your vibrations.  Dim the lights lie on your back and chant along with the CD.  Concentrate on the physical location you are chanting for, noticing shifts in sensation.

There are seven main charkas.  They can best be described as spinning balls of energy which are located centrally in the front and the posterior of the body.

The first or root chakra is located at the base of the trunk near the sexual organs.  This chakra responds to the keynote C and the color red.  It is associated with groundedness, survival and the process of elimination and organs that operate that function.

The second or sacral chakra is located 3 inches below the navel.  This chakra responds to the keynote D and the color orange.  This chakra is associated with sexual energy, the reproductive organs, and the life force.

The third or solar plexus chakra is located at the navel and a little above. This chakra responds to the keynote E and the color yellow.  Its energy is associated with digestion and the digestive organs.  It is also associated with power.

The fourth chakra or heart chakra is located in the center of the chest. This chakra responds to the keynote F and the color green. On the physical level, it works the lungs and the heart.  On the emotional level, it deals with compassion and love.

The fifth chakra or the throat chakra is located at the throat. This chakra responds to the keynote G and the color turquoise.  It is associated with communication, speech, and hearing.

The sixth or brow chakra is located in the center of the forehead above the eyes. This chakra responds to the keynote A and the color indigo blue.  Often called the third eye.  It is associated with imagination and psychic abilities.

The seventh or crown chakra is located at the top of the head. This chakra responds to the keynote D and the color violet or white.  It is associated with bringing spiritual energy into the body.  It is said to control every area of the body and mind as well as is responsible for the full enlightenment and union with God.

 Because of this, there are several ways to utilize this CD.

1. Surrender may be used as a self-healing and meditation tool. The sounds on the recording assist in balancing the Chakras as well as calming the mind and body.

2. Surrender may also be used as a sonic environment to create balance and alignment during energy and bodywork. Along with balancing the Chakras, the sounds that you will experience on Surrender will assist in promoting deep relaxation.

3. You may also utilize Surrender as a way to resonate with your own Chakras by chanting along with the CD.
